AlphaFold-Multimer 2.2.0 were used for the prediction of the complex formed between PMCA1 and basigin (isoform-2). The `--full_dbs` option, which runs with all genetic databases used at CASP14, was set. Database versions were the same as in this AF2 release, except UniClust30, for which we used the 2021_06 release. The `--max_template_date` argument was set to 1900-01-01 to disable structural template usage. The structure top ranked based on ipTM+pTM score were selected and presented as cif and pdb files. Longer disordered regions were removed. The complex’s structure with full proteins can be found in the zip file along with the PAE plot, in which the red line indicates the sequence boundary between PMCA1 and basigin.
